In 1990, film producer Jean Chalopin, who owned the château between 1989 and 2006, embarked on a titanic 14-year restoration project. The renovation work was carried out by the most qualified restoration companies and craftsmen, under the direction of a dedicated and talented architect of historic monuments. The château offers all the facilities and comforts of modern life, without compromising the integrity of its architecture and history: three dining rooms, four kitchens, a 600m² orangery, a 25m swimming pool under a glass roof, a spa, a theater and a 13th-century consecrated chapel. The premises offer 19 double rooms, and a permit for a further 40 rooms is possible but not yet purged. Full-year sales are estimated at €5m-€6m.
