Borrowing from the wisdom of old Florida construction, the pecky cypress siding is naturally resistant to decay and insects. The sprawling porches are the ideal backdrop for sharing an evening meal and relaxed conversation at end of a long day. Sunset Captiva offers one of the few options in the Captiva Village where a private owner or renter can keep a boat. Whether jumping on your boat for a day of restaurant hopping from Cabbage Key to Boca Grande, spending a leisurely afternoon fishing from the dock or getting some exercise paddleboarding in the gulf, Sunset Captiva has all the tropical watersports covered. If land-based sports are your preference, Sunset Captiva offers a pool, beach boardwalk, tennis courts and one of the island's only community pickleball courts.
