The Orsini Castle is located in Nerola, a village approximately fifty kilometers northeast of Rome, in the picturesque Sabina region, just an hour's drive from Ciampino Airport.
Built between the 10th and 11th centuries by order of Napoleon Orsini and completed in 1085 by his son Gentil Virginio Orsini, the castle has undergone various transformations throughout its fascinating history, including its conversion into a hotel starting in 1994.
