In one of the most prestigious and panoramic hills of the Lucca area, authentic old country house dating back to the XV Century, former monastery, with land and swimming pool, located just 6 miles north-west of Lucca.
The country house consists of the main building on three levels with on the Ground Floor a large rustic eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, a further sitting room with access to the rear garden, a guest bathroom and utility room. The upper floor includes five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The attic has ample in height for further living space, currently to be finished.
Adjacent to the house there is the large heybarn with the classic "mandolate" openings, where one can enlarge the living space of further 200 sqm.
A wonderful porch with a breathtaking view, ideal for outdoor lunches and dinners, enriches the large garden that develops around it. As well as another room used as an external kitchen with wood-burning oven and barbecue area. The splendid 6x12 m private swimming pool with solarium area and pergola is located further down. Finally, a small annexe on two levels completes the front garden with a wide parking shaded by secular trees.
The land of about 17 hectares is very pleasant and widely flat, with large terraces sloping gently down towards the valley, an olive grove of about 700 trees and a small woodland.
Time seems to slow down in this enchanting scenery of tranquility and peace, despite its proximity to various towns and services.
