Daedalus is the epitome of the luxurious family home. Located in Elounda, in the northern coast of Crete, the Villa is a private Mediterranean paradise that will enchant you for its unique character and plethora of facilities.
Privacy can be a rare luxury and here at Daedalus privacy is guaranteed. Spend your days relaxing by the pool, wander through the magnificent grounds of the estate full of olive groves, breathing in the heady scents of the flowers and enjoy one of the many areas the property offers to sit and just take in the natural beauty that surrounds you. You would never tire of being here. There is access down to the sea, a full size tennis court and a private boules court. For moments of private reflection there is a picturesque Greek Orthodox chapel which features its own patio - perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies.
Although luxury is the key word when describing this villa it is also very much a family home with comfort and grace at its very core. It is a home filled with art, it has a games room and a library with a grand piano.
The living room looks out over beautiful sea views and has an original six hundred year old fireplace creating a superb focal point. Each of the six bedrooms in the main house has an en suite bathroom and private balcony or terrace. There is an additional separate apartment/cottage underneath the tennis court with two bedrooms , open plan kitchen, dining and living area.
Nearby golf course access and private in house tennis and swimming lessons are available on request while a Relais et Chateaux chef is included in the price.
