Kinabatangan Jungle Camp was started in year 2004 in Bilit, Kinabatangan based on the eco-tourism concept " responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustain the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education. KJC was initially started as a camp with few chalets and rooms. Up to today, KJC has undergoing few renovation and upgraded our facilities to become the best lodge in Kinabatangan River. The lodge is built within 57 acres of private land. The journey overland takes about 2 hours from Sandakan.
