An integrated residential-cum-marina resort development on the eastern coast of Sentosa island, which is the first and only true oceanfront residence available in Singapore allowing foreigners to own a landed property. The home is a confluence on elements and styles. It is a breathing sensitive space in the strong frame of raw wood, polished steel and fair-faced concrete. It captures the 'home', in the language of modern architecture, sensitive to spatial and functional needs of contemporary lifestyle. The entire house uses strong languages and luxurious Euro finishes. These were woven together by grand and intimate spaces while extending its functions into the outdoor.

With meticulous planning, the traditional zoning of spaces is reversed; the major rooms open out to the rear to take opportunity of the boundless view of the sea while stretching the physical constraints of its walls. The front of the house faces the waterway and the rear faces the sea.

In terms of spatial configuration, the design plays with triple, double and single height spaces, with grandiosity and intimacy. The entrance to the house is through a triple height foyer, where the sky is visible through the glass skylight. There is a glimpse of the sea through the open staircase. Both these elements create the notion of virtual, boundless space. The living area itself is a grand double height space with expansive glass panels from where one can enjoy the pool and the sea in the background. The dining area is linked by the timber bridge that cuts through the main staircase. It opens out to the covered terrace and further on to the landscape. The terrace is designed to be a space from where one can enjoy the pool and the sea, protected from the heat of the tropical sun. Both the living and dining spaces can be fully opened thru the full height sliding-folding glass doors - this is an opportunity to experience the breeze from the sea while enjoying an unobstructed view.

All bedrooms are located on the second floor. They are designed to be private, warm spaces with luxurious material finishes. The Master Bedroom faces the sea and is extended by a balcony. It opens into the court ahead. The sloping ceiling brings a dramatic dimension to the space. The other two bedroom share the same qualities of the master bedroom in terms of spaces and design. The view from the Study/Family area located on the second floor extends from the waterway to the sea. This is again a virtually boundless space within the confines of the interiors. A Guest Room is located on the first floor. The wine cellar and AV room are placed at the basement, where the environment is controlled for their effective usage.
