The estate itself features luxurious facilities, including extensive grounds, a spectacular travertine-edged infinity pool, an outdoor kitchen, and an expensive terrace, where guests can take in the fresh Tuscan air and a spectacular view of the valley below. The estate is also located a short distance to some of the most renowned vineyards worldwide: for instance, Montalcino, famous for its Brunello vineyards, is just 15 minutes away. In addition, Siena, the hilltop towns of Pienza and San Quirico d'Orcia, and the thermal baths at Bagno di Vignone are all accessible within 30 minutes.
The villa was commissioned by the illustrious Chigi family and was designed by the renowned Sienese architect Baldassare Tommaso Peruzzi (1481 - 1536).
